The dataset is permafrost table and permafrost temperature under natural surface and embankment in alpine meadow and steppe along Qinghai-Tibet Highway and Railway. We show a detailed information of these sites, including location, ecosystem and vegetation, mean active layer thickness, mean annual ground temperature, and frozen soil types.
